And still you know me

Feeling full of his presence and satisfied by his love and mercy.  My Father...amazed that even though you know every detail of my life, you still love me.  You hung the stars yet you still know me.  Humbled at your feet.

Dreams

Ever heard the saying "People without vision will perish?" If you question the truth behind this statement, take two people, one with a dream and vision and one with neither. Then stand them side by side and look into their eyes. I guarantee you will see a difference! If you are a person who has given up on dreams or vision for your life, let me just say this, "SNAP OUT OF IT!"

We get one life here on Earth, one chance to make a difference. One chance to be our true authentic self in human form. What are you going to do with that? Live a life too afraid to try and put yourself out there? Play it safe just to avoid rejection or failure? Failure is just a part of success, so long you don't allow it to defeat you. First dream, then visualize and then take action! It doesn't matter how old or young you are. It is never too early nor is it ever too late.

I pray that God births new dreams and visions in all of us!!  Dream on baby!! Xoxo

For the love of the game.  My son plays basketball and his teams have been pretty successful up to this point. The teams have always at least made playoffs. This year his team is defeated. You know the opposite of undefeated.  Now, you would think my son would be angry, sad or even discouraged. Yet, to my surprise he always comes off the court with pure joy on his face. I asked him tonight after the loss of 30-36 "did you have fun?".  With a big smile and eyes lit with joy he nodded and responded with a resounding "yes!"
     Why this story tonight? I believe that my sons love for the game is what continues to get him back on the court after losing consistently.  There is no quitting for him-he can't quit on something he loves. What if we took that same approach with life? It seems when life beats us up too much we stop smiling and our eyes start to look glazed over. We become defeated-but really we are not defeated because we are still in the game. We are still able to play this thing called life.  So if you are feeling a bit beaten down, don't focus on the loss. Focus on the love of the game! Lets thank God today that we get to play in this amazing experience called life! In all things lets work to be great full!! Xoxo

Nothing better than that moment when you sit back and realize just how happy you are.  And not because you have everything you have ever wanted but because you have everyone you ever wanted. Real happiness will never be found in things, it will be found in love. If you are not happy, do a self check. At what capacity are you able to receive love and love? Is your love based on conditions with expectations that no man could ever possibly live up to?  If so, you will always be unhappy. If you are surrounded by people who don't show love, dare to show them love anyway. In order to see change we must be the change.  Praying God guides all of us to place of happiness and peace! Xoxo

I find when my life seems over whelming and stressful with no time to spare, the best thing I can do is give my time to someone who needs it.  Now it is very natural to want to do just the opposite! However, when we take our focus off of ourselves and focus it on someone else's needs, it has a fabulous affect on our life.  It has a way of putting life back into perspective. One, we are not the only person in the world with problems. two, life is better lived together and three, it feels dang good to give! When I am giving I always forget about my personal problems! Now that has to be good for the stress levels!  We should never be too busy for the  people who need us and for more reasons than one! Giving does a body and soul good! So with that said, be good to your body and soul and take time out to serve your fellow man! Xoxo

Too often we find ourselves running from one event to another. We jam pack the calendar with needs, wants and desires. Let's try to remember that not only do our bodies require rest, our souls do as well! As we pour out, let us remember to refill as well! Xoxoxo
